The BBQ and Beer Fair

This two-day event is a showcase of local barbeque and beer. You can pay extra for the craft beer “experience,” which gives you access to even more libations. Just as importantly, parents can take advantage of the Kid Zone in case they feel like imbibing a bit more thoroughly. Santa Clarita’s Central Park is the location, and prices start at an affordable $10.

The Pasadena Chalk Street Painting Fair

The Madonnari (the Italian word for “painter of the street”) are out in full force in this street fair. Over the lifetime of the event, some street artists have become masters of their craft for the sole purpose of showing out here. You will see some truly incredible work. The proceeds all go to a great cause as well – the Light Bringer Project is an arts and learning non profit organization that introduces underprivileged children to the arts.
